In order to promote greater flexibility for player development within clubs, Oklahoma Soccer will begin offering a Club Player Pass System in the fall of 2005 to clubs with competitive teams. The system will allow players to register with a club and receive a Club Player Pass that will allow a player to move between teams in that club at the discretion of the club's organization.
For example, using the Club Player Pass System, a club could register up to 28 players in the U11 age group if they plan to participate in the program with 2 teams at that age group. Players could move between teams of their own age group or be moved up to be challenged at an older age group without having to go through the process of “transferring” to the older team. This will allow the club flexibility to develop players as best suits the individual player.
To explore how a club is able to take advantage of the Club Player Pass System, please see the CPP System rules (Section 3 revised as of 5.1.05) and some Frequently Asked Questions.
