Registration & Risk Management Processes
Online Volunteer & Database Registration in Gotsoccer

All OSA members may now use the Gotsoccer program online at www.gotsport.com to upload the required player database registration files and submit all of their required volunteer risk management registration for each seasonal year. This process is a valuable resource to our members to help with the ease of submission and continuity of our statewide membership database.

Because registration and risk management deadlines occur annually, the Oklahoma Soccer Association would like to review the registration and risk management processes.   Please check with your country association if you have questions on your club login for Gotsoccer, the country deadline dates, or their registration requirements.  This is critical information for all members, so please make sure your club receives this information.  (For more information please click on the "learn more" link below and visit the Gotsoccer section of this website.)

Conducting A Fair Hearing

Guidelines and Procedures

To all administrators of clubs, leagues, or countries within Oklahoma Soccer Association:

Each season a number of issues arise concerning providing due process for members of the soccer community who become involved in situations requiring a hearing. USSF and OSA bylaws require certain procedures to be followed when such hearings are called.  Knowing the proper procedures can eliminate many appeals from club to country to OSA that often occur during the soccer year.

USSF Bylaws 701-707 provide information in holding a proper hearing and the appeals process. Before a hearing is to be held, please check your bylaws to determine if your organization has authority to hold such a hearing. Complaints against referees requiring a hearing are held by OSA. Hearing on Abuse/Assault of referees is conducted by OSA.

Primary areas that will cause a hearing to be appealed:
· Lack of notification to party involved
· Improper hearing procedures followed
· Actions taken against the party are beyond the scope of the panel’s power
· Lack of impartial panel members

If your club officers wish more information concerning how hearings are to be conducted, please contact OSA at 800-347-3590 or by Email at oksoccer@oksoccer.com .
