Adult Soccer

The purposes of Adult Soccer in Oklahoma and throughout the United States are:

(1) to develop, promote, and administer the game of soccer among players, men and women, within the United States;

(2) to provide for National Cups and Select Teams competitions;

(3) to foster national and international amateur sports competition and to support and develop amateur athletes for national and international competition in soccer;

(4) to develop, promote, and administer the game of soccer within the United States, as defined by USASA;

(5) to promote soccer and physical fitness for all ages through instructional and educational programs designed to meet the needs of each age group;

(6) to support the training and licensing of coaches and referees for soccer; and;

(7) to encourage more active public support of soccer and physical fitness.

 

MISSION STATEMENT

To promote the game of SOCCER for Men & Women, in an atmosphere of Fun, Fair Play and Friendship, and

Secure USASA membership for all men and women in the game
Create opportunities for players and spectators
Operate a public relations program to promote the USASA
Renew and improve the relationship with the youth and professional divisions
Educate the players and the members of the general public on the activities of the USASA

Being a member of an organization of over 200,000 adult players in the USA and over two million in the world is only one of the reasons for affiliating with United States Amateur Soccer Association.

Having a centralized communication center to handle information concerning all affiliated leagues, soccer happenings across the United States and the world soccer events.
Having a consistency in the playing rules in league play as well as in tournament play throughout the US.
Having an appeals system which includes an impartial governing body to oversee all play of soccer.

Having referee training, education and evaluation program with a procedure for complaints on referees
