WHAT TO EXPECT:         All the levels emphasize the practical aspects of coaching with over half of the time devoted to fieldwork. Coaches should come prepared to participate, bring a soccer ball and wear appropriate gear. Coaches receive manuals and an extensive package of age appropriate practice plans.

GRADING POLICIES:             Candidates are graded either “pass” or “not ready” for all components of the course both                                                     theoretical and field testing and must receive passing scores in all test areas in order to                                                     earn the ”C” License. If a candidate fails only one theoretical subject (written or oral) they                                                  qualify for an immediate, on site re-test for that subject. However, if a candidate scores not                                                 ready in any of the following three areas, the candidate must then wait a minimum of six                                                    (6) months before they are eligible to re-take the field examination at a regional re-test site.
1.       Both oral exams
2.       One or more practical field exams
3.       Two or more written subjects
