Fall 2008/ Spring 2008 Season
OPL has come full circle, many ideas have been tried, some worked and some failed miserably. Starting with the completion of the spring 08 OPL season and continuing each season following from here on the OPL will be made up of a maximum of 8 teams. At the conclusion of each season U12-U14 age groups will relegate the bottom two teams or the number needed to leave six teams, and promote the FCSA and GCSA winners for partipcation in the next OPL Season. The U15s will relegate two teams or the number needed to leave six teams, at the end of the Fall Season and promote from FCSA and GCSA Spring season. Participation for the relegated teams in the country spring leagues is strongly encouraged. The U16s and U17s will become U17s and U18s(after try-outs) the next fall and those age groups are open to all teams. U11 age groups will play Spring OPL only. The age group will be made up of the top 4 FCSA and GCSA U11 teams.
The OPL will attempt to accommodate coaching conflicts for coaches involving two teams only. Coaches with more than two teams will need assistant coaches.
Since OPL standings determine seeding for State Cup seeding, no team will be allowed to play up.
