2017 OSA State Workshop

OSA is pleased to announce that this year's workshop luncheon keynote speaker will be David Vaudreuil, new head coach of the Tulsa Roughnecks!
The OSA Annual State-wide Workshop continues to be our association's premier event and celebrates 27 years of supporting our members. This year is going to be an exciting time with all of the changes coming to soccer in 2017!
The 2017 Workshop will be held at the Marriott Tulsa Hotel Southern Hills. This is conveniently located at 1902 E 71st St, Tulsa, OK.
This years workshop will include :
- Hall of Fame Reception
- Annual General Meetings (AGM)
- OSA Awards Luncheon
- Optional Referee Assignor Course
- Optional National Youth Coaching Course (See information below)
The workshop provides great information and resources for everyone. We provide classes/discussions for:
- Risk Management Coordinators.
Luncheon only tickets are available to anyone who would like to come and support our award winners, hall of fame inductees and catch new Tulsa Roughnecks FC head coach David Vapreuil's keynote address!

You will also of opportunities to socialize and network. There is no other event or opportunity like it!
There is 1 (one) free registration per club.
For clubs traveling a 100 miles or more, there is 1 (one) free room per club for 1 (one) night.

National Youth Coaching Course
The National Youth Coaching Course is designed to provide club directors of coaching, youth coaches, physical education teachers, and soccer administrators with the knowledge to successfully structure soccer environments for children aged 4-12.
The role of the coach as a facilitator is explored; the physical, mental and emotional needs and capabilities of players from 4-12 are explored; the lessons from developmental psychology are explored; and the art of teaching is explored. Candidates are videotaped for analysis during live training sessions.
Part 1: FEB 3-5
Part 2: FEB 10-12
(Estimated times: Fri 6:00pm-10:00pm, Sat & Sun 8:00am - 6:00pm)
Virgil Stringfield II - Master of Education, National Coaching License "Youth" and "A", National Soccer Coaches Diploma and 30+ years of coaching experience.
Cost is $695.00 per candidate.
