When selecting a Referee class be certain that you are choosing the correct location and date. There are 3 types of courses available: Recert, 09, and 08.  You cannot register for an 08 unless you have taken an 09 class. All referees who were registered in 2014 must take the Recert class unless they are upgrading to 08.
PLEASE CHOOSE CAREFULLY!!

To register as a new referee for 2015 by taking an 09 class, for an 09 taking an 08 class, and for referees registered for 2014, OSA has created an online process to speed up the registration process and allow online training.
Let’s follow the process step-by-step so you can easily attend a class.

NEW REFEREES MUST ATTEND AN 09 COURSE
1.      Select an 09 course you wish to attend from the list above. Click on the registration link for that class and complete two forms: a registration form that informs the hosting club of your attendance; and a second form requiring you to pay the $60 to attend the class. Both of these are required to be completed PRIOR to attending the class.  The host club will NOT take cash at the site and time will not be given for registration during the class. If you do not have internet access you may visit a library or use your smart phone.
2.      If you are 18 or older, a third form, a background check will be required. When following the registration for the class process, a form will appear but it is NOT the correct form. Use this link to complete the Background Check To help you complete the Background Check, use the following link: How To Complete the Background Check
3.      Prior to attending the class all referee candidates must visit the USSF online 09 course and view the entire course. For the 09 course link, click here. The 09 class is now two sessions of 3 hours each.  Spanish 09 course, click here
4.      Print off the required coursebook for the 09 class. COURSEBOOK
5.      Once the class is successfully completed you will be given a 2014 09 referee badge UNLESS you have not met all the requirements above.

08 REFEREE CLASSES (you must have attended an 09 to be admitted to this class)
1.      Select an 08 course you wish to attend from the list above.
