How To Host A Club Tournament

 

How to Host a Youth/Club Tournament



The following steps and documents will assist in applying for a Youth Tournament.
 

Please note with the new formats coming Fall 2016, these are the new roster sizes from USYS, so make sure your hosting applications are updated.

6 and Under (4v4): The maximum team roster size is eight (8).
8 and Under (4v4): The maximum team roster size is eight (8).
10 and Under (7v7): The maximum team roster size is twelve (12).
12 and Under (9v9): The maximum team roster size is sixteen (16).
U13-14: The maximum recreational team roster size is eighteen (18).
U15-19: The maximum recreational team roster limit is twenty two (22).
13 & Older (11v11): The maximum competitive team roster size is twenty-two (22).
 
State Tournament weekend dates are considered “black out” weekends; clubs may not host tournaments on the following State Tournament dates: 
• October 14-15, 2017 Kohl's American Cup Festival & Tournament of Champions (Midwest City SC)
• April 29-30, 2017: President’s Preliminaries U11-U14 
• April 29-30, 2017: State Cup Preliminaries U11-U14 
• May 7-8, 2017: President’s & State Cup U11-U14 Finals 
• May 20-21, 2017: President's & State Cup U15-U18 Preliminaries 
• May 26-29, 2017: President's & State Cup U15-19 Finals

• October 14-15, 2017: Kohl's American Cup Festival & Tournament of Champions



Tournament Hosting Application Fees:

Restricted (For Oklahoma USYS Teams only) - $50
Unrestricted (For all US Soccer Affiliates/Out of State Teams) - $75
International Tournaments (For Teams Outside the U.S.) - $100
New tournaments require a $1,500 bond

 

Applications received after due date must pay a $250 late fee in addition to the regular fee.



General Information:

Step 1 

Review the Application to Host Youth Tournaments Policies and Procedures and complete the US Youth Soccer Application - print off a copy and send in Application - US Youth Soccer

Step 2

Complete the Tournament or Games Hosting Agreement - US Youth Soccer - print off a copy and send in
Tournament or Games Hosting Agreement - US Youth Soccer 

 

Step 3

Submit current rules for your tournament (do not submit a past year's or "draft" copy)
 

E-mail or mail the above documents to OSA OKC office using the contact information below. 

Applications must be complete with all materials including the hosting fee payment (bond if applicable) before applications will be processed and approved.

 

Upon Completion of Your Tournament:

Step 4

Upon completion of your tournament, please submit the Tournament Evaluation Form.
 

Step 5

 All send off reports of the final matches must be sent to OSA by email.  Send Off Form
